Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

KOY Pantry (“Koy Pantry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates koypantry.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or place an order, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

Koy Pantry is a Turkish pantry brand selling packaged food products online, shipped within the United States. Our business address is:

KOY Pantry LLC
165D New Boston Street
Woburn, MA 01801
United States

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically when you use the Site, and information from third-party services we use to run the Site.

Information you give us directly

  • Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted form).
  • Order information. When you place an order, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, phone number, email address, and the items you purchased.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. When you enter your card details at checkout, they are sent directly to Stripe and never touch our servers or our database. We receive only a payment confirmation and a Stripe-generated transaction reference — never your full card number. See Stripe’s own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy for how Stripe handles payment data.
  • Communications. If you contact us — by email, a contact form, or a wholesale inquiry form — we collect whatever information you include in that message.
  • Marketing sign-up. If you subscribe to our newsletter or marketing emails, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. We only send marketing email to people who have opted in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, general location (city or region level, not a precise address), device and browser type, and on-site actions like adding an item to cart or completing a purchase. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Advertising and measurement tools. We may use advertising and measurement tools that place cookies or similar identifiers on the Site, so that we can measure how our advertising performs and, where you have consented, show you relevant ads on other sites. Where such a tool is active, it typically collects pages viewed, purchase events, and a browser or device identifier — not your name or your payment details, unless you separately provide those to the advertising platform yourself.
  • Cookies. See Section 3 below.

Information from third parties

  • Our web host, e-commerce platform, and site security and performance tools may log technical information such as IP address, browser type, and access times, for security and troubleshooting purposes.
  • If you interact with us on a third-party platform — for example a store listing or a marketplace — that platform’s own privacy policy governs the information it collects.

3. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, to:

  • keep you logged in and remember the items in your cart;
  • remember your preferences, for example a state you have searched in our store locator;
  • measure Site traffic and usage through analytics;
  • support advertising and measurement tools, where those are enabled (see Section 2).

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking essential cookies — such as those that keep your cart working — may prevent parts of the Site, including checkout, from functioning correctly.

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • process and fulfill your orders, including payment, shipping, and customer service;
  • create and maintain your account, if you have one;
  • send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and password resets;
  • send marketing email, only if you have opted in, and always with an unsubscribe option;
  • understand and improve how the Site performs, using aggregate analytics;
  • run and measure advertising, where those tools are enabled;
  • detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting recordkeeping.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers who help us run the Site and fulfill orders, and only for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Stripe receives the payment details you enter at checkout, in order to process your payment.
  • Google receives Site usage data, and purchase or conversion events where those are enabled, for analytics and advertising.
  • Advertising and measurement platforms, where such a tool is enabled on the Site, receive Site usage and purchase events for advertising measurement.
  • Our email marketing service provider receives the email address, name, and marketing engagement history of subscribers, in order to send newsletters and marketing email.
  • Shipping carriers receive the shipping name and address needed to deliver your order.
  • Our website host and security providers receive technical and log data, in order to keep the Site running and secure.

We may also share information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Koy Pantry, our customers, or others.

If Koy Pantry is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you if this materially changes how your information is handled.

6. Your privacy rights

All customers. You can review and update your account information at any time by logging into your account. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, contact us at [email protected].

Residents of certain U.S. states. Some states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia, among others — give residents specific rights over their personal information. These may include the right to know what information we hold about you, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of certain uses such as targeted advertising or the “sale” of personal information as those states define it. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of the word, but some state laws define “sale” broadly enough to include certain advertising cookies. Where that applies, you can opt out through the cookie controls described in Section 3, or by contacting us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

7. Data retention

We retain order and account information for as long as we need it to provide our services, comply with tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need information for any of those purposes, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect, including encrypted payment processing through Stripe and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice, such as an email to account holders. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
